I remember my mom made me start to wear (training) bras when I was around 10 or eleven because most of the girls were making fun of me/bullying me and were jealous I was growing and showing and they weren’t. I have always hated bras.

i started ‘needing’ a bra around the time i was 10 or 11 too, except i was tomboy around that age so it felt so strange to look for a bra (that was pink, or flowery no less) while looking in the boy’s section for clothes. so i hated bras, and puberty itself was uncomfortable, so wearing no protection was uncomfortable too.
